My love and I decided to take a drive West for the Thanksgiving Holiday. With less than 24 hours notice we were welcomed with opened arms! Both Neville and Michael are AMAZING! We stayed in their home in the upstairs bedroom, dinner was being prepared when we arrived. EVERYTHING was GREAT! We will definitely be returning very soon. The land is so peaceful and the stars at night are beautiful! We miss them so much and can't wait to be in their presence again!
Gorgeous mountain hostel a half mile from AT. Home spun environment with lovable characters and hearty food. Slept in shared room and bed and shower were great

Beautiful and comfortable hostel - Neville and Michael were very welcoming and have created a wonderful and peaceful environment for hikers and non-hikers alike. Beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks guys!
Just a great place; as I was treated nearly as part of the family. Oh, and the family happens to include two extremely well behaved dogs, a half dozen ducks swimming orderly in a small pond, various grazing cows, a few goats, some pigs, all the things that this city boy has not really seen in years! Proximity to the trail itself is five stars, just a short downhill walk to the hostel. I haven't even mentioned the food, which is really out of this world. Twice in my five days of slack packing (well, one day was a zero) Neville fixed me up with breakfast for the road. And the dinners, homemade everything, including the ice cream! Actually could have gained weight unless I refused a couple of sides! Recommended? Absolutely . . . .
